When parents connect, they can band together to delay or forego smartphones and social media, push for phone-free policies and intentional screen use in schools, and create a community culture that values play and real-world experiences.

In addition to local groups, parents have joined forces to advocate for legislation at the state-level. These coalitions have become powerful voices in supporting phone- and social-media free school legislation and are working in coordination with the Distraction-Free Schools Policy Project.
